Whitney Peak, 17, is set to walk the streets of the Upper East Side as she takes the style reigns from Leighton Meester and Blake Lively after being cast in the reboot of Gossip Girl.

This isn’t the first time the Ugandan actress has been seen on the small screen, she recently starred opposite Kiernan Shipka in The Chilling Adventures of Sabrina, and featured in the 2017 Aaron Sorkin film Molly’s Game. Filming of Gossip Girl is expected to start this year, and Peak will star opposite other newcomers Eli Brown, Zión Moreno and Emily Alyn Lind.
